It is Brigid’s eve tonight. I need to go on with my reading about Saint Brigid’s lake of milk. This is (again) the story about the lake of milk.

Tonight I picked the card for position 4 from the Lady of the Hunt spread, a waxing moon spread about starting new projects. The card tells me what my project, which is course I prepare, needs. My cards was Eight of Pentacles. It shows the fence of a balcony in Prague. Craftspeople are put in the fence. I've never pulled this card and I like it.

Today I practiced the spread about Justice that is to be used in the first lesson of the second course on Psalm 119. A spread about Justice is difficult because it can be confronting, let alone in a first lesson of a course when all is new and people hardly know each other. So I wanted it to be playful and surprising.

I’ve read today the passage in John in which Jesus refers to his miracle of multiplying of bread and fish to feed many, many people. He mentioned this in a boat on which he and his disciples were. They had only one loaf of bread with them and the disciples worried about that. Frostbite is on the trees today again, all is white. The millers from the mill nearby our house are baking doughnut balls. It all gives the surroundings of our house an atmosphere of Christmas.
